Three Surface Types
Most basketball courts can be either built out of asphalt or concrete depending on the size and access to your backyard. Either surface makes for a fantastic basketball court surface.
The next thing you will need to decide on is the type of surface you would like to have installed.
There are basically (3) different type of basketball surfaces available. The first is a standard acrylic surface that is found in about 90% of all basketball courts.You can also choose to have a cushion surface which provides greater safety and a bouncy feel to the court or a tile system similar to either versacourt or sport court can be installed.

The next option in having your home basketball court built is the size and type of backboard. The sizes of the backboard vary from 36” x 48” to NBA size which is 42” x 72” and can be either made out of plexiglass, aluminum or Tempered Glass. All of the sizes and materials that the backboards are made of fit a specific need and one of our estimators will be able to go over them with you to ensure that it fits your individual basketball court needs!
